Playlist
A smaller playlist today - Mr Iverson of course, plus a couple of new found things by his Bad Plus colleague Dave King...
Up late...
Anne headed out for new glasses and to do some shopping...
Next CD Box, No 91 "Liturgy for St Columbus" to "Music From the Renaissance"...
Today's choice, a tasty CD of what was music of the present, from 1950-2000...
...of which, much remains avant garde...
A top selection of composers, with a couple of exceptions perhaps...
At 9:25, out...
...and up the hill...
...and down the hill...
...and along...
...past the Zoo...
...the top of Anne's mum's old road...
...and Jane and Bob's...
...Murrayfield and the Chinese Consulate...
...and the weird hotel...
...to Roseburn and up the incline...
...to Anne's mum's care home...
..meeting up with Anne for a visit to Mary...
...who made it to the lounge under her own steam...
...followed by a wheelchair trip to the cafe, which we'd reckoned would be shut for Easter...
Home for lunch - no garden centre trip this week...
An afternoon and early evening spent working on Capital Models, revamping song sheets and song keys and redoing arrangements...
All worthwhile work but a tad laborious...
Outside this evening, Easter ne'er do wells...
I hate noisy young ne'er do wells...
However, I am wary of getting into trouble myself by taking the pish out of young ne'er do wells and so did nothing...
On telly tonight, we started the second season of "Dead Loch" (I think) and, on the 1st semi final of University Challenge, scored 95 as, jumping in early and losing 5 points for being wrong over and over again Darwin College were dumped out by Edinburgh (no-one from Edinburgh on the team of course)...
Bed at midnight or so...
Reasonable day - music work-wise...
Highlight of the Day: Reworking songs for the band...
