Up pre 7 and, of course, foolishly looking for yet more new music I don't need, which might be out today...
As if I don't have enough...
Almost 150 items have entered the library since last Friday morning...
...but I enjoy the hunt so, you know...
The sky was suitably treated...
A post on Blue Sky reminded me I have this - which was in the charts in February 1971...
Having inherited it from my mum and dad, meant I have 26 of the Top 30 LPs from this chart (my count re the singles was "just" 19)...
More "work" and soon the library was expanded by a further 21 things (see below)...
With Anne off to Zumba, once I'd added all the new stuff to the mobile listening unit and my Apple Tunes, I headed out, noting a cat in the end house with its new people..
...but I eschewed all the new music to listen to my own, "GLAM! FOUR", out tomorrow morning for Record Store Day as I drove out to Loanhead...
A coupon got me a free loaf at LIDL...
...a trio of classical CDs was picked up for £2.50 at the big branch of the BHF...
...and a new black shirt was partaken of...
In IKEA, I sought out a BlueTooth speaker but, in the end, decided against it, even though it was a mere £5...
Then, to Stewart Brewing, the venue for the upcoming (June 6) Capital Models gig, meeting drummer John and long-suffering co-host of our rehearsals, Moira, there...
We met with Justyna who provided drinks and showed us around...
This is the stage...
...this, the view from the stage...
...and this, the view from the back of the space...
The Brewery is expecting around 800 people on the day, although not all of them are likely to be there at the same time...
These cans may be filled with beer by then...
Some details still to be sorted out but a good meeting and more info should be forthcoming next week...
Home in time to allow Anne to head off to visit her mum - I was increasingly under the weather re the cough, the cold and the injured foot...
Listened to the new Mozart disc and tried not to fall asleep...
This evening, post a tea of home made soup and some toast. the viewing comprised the pilot to comedy "DMV", "Beyond Paradise", "Coronation St" for Anne (as I listened back to last Monday's band rehearsal) and, finally, nephew Craig's "View from the Terrace"...
Bed around 11:30, coughing and spluttering still...
