Soul destroying sound interference can destroy your soul...

Playlist

Up, coughing...

What time was it?

A minute later...

Scenes...

Started the day in the back room doing nothing (except coughing) and scrolling through my BlueSky timeline...

The view from my place...

Wednesday...

First disc of the day, Uriah Heep "Firefly" after reading an appreciation of it online...

Better than I recalled...

Breakfast...

...and choosing the next CD, while playing yesterday's Ornette Coleman...

Box No 112: Entirely John Coltrane...

I chose a 2CD compilation of previously unreleased or remixed material, issued in 1987...

I think this is the last John Coltrane CD I bought, of the very, very many I own...

An interesting set indeed...

Transferred it to the mobile listening unit and it soundtracked my out and aboutness today, undertaken while Anne was at Zumba...

I had been feeling a bit better this morning and decided to chance my arm...

Down the hill around 10:45...

Yep, this was me....

To the bank and, then, a walk along the main street, stopping in at two chazzas...

A bus back along and up the hill, noting my four purchases for £3 in the St Columba's shop...

While his Chamber Symphony is "not great" the other two pieces on here are some of John Adams' best works (IMHO of course)...

Some beautiful flute concertos over this two disc set...

The second three composers' works of particular interest...

Clarinet is not one of may fave sounds but this is good and at least two of the composers are seldom recorded...

..and a two CD set of African guitar music...

Walking down from the terminus, I spotted this Skip Truck near the house - they used to be clients back in the day - I worked on their situation with old chum Julie, now in N Ireland...

Correspondence undertaken with her...

Oh how we laughed...

Ah the old days...

Home after just over an hour - Anne still not back...

Ripping and listening...

Anne arrived as the African Guitar music was playing...

Let's just say she was unimpressed..

More remix work done on yesterday's "Butterflies" - funky versions created - Mr Spark approved of my work thus far...

Post lunch and another "Murder Mile", Anne was off to the care home, visited today by Arthur the Dog, who enjoys carrots and is rewarded by said vegetable for his work with the elderly...

Arthur the dog and his carrots...

Blue skies today but bitterly cold out...

Buoyed by some of Anne's mint chocolate...

...and a visit, a rare visit, from Rocky...

Unlike her "brother", Fang, she has never pished on the TV and so, is allowed into the house...

Also, unlike Fang, she has no interest in Dreamies...

Back to the machines and more pointless "work"...

Still, months later, trying to find a solution to the sound interference I get whenever I'm connected to the interest...

Soul destroying pish...

Unlike Anne's prawn and n'duja pasta...

Shaved my face and my head...

This is all that that amounts to these days...

This evening, a new Norwegian thing, "Detective Hole", had a particularly gruesome ending to the first episode and so, I might be watching the rest, solo...

One last remix of "Butterflies" ended the day, a 7" version...

That'll do...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day: Out and about...
