Friday the 13th - I didn't even realise...

...even though it was on my screen...

...and the calendar...

"Decades", a collection of 40 Songs from 40 Albums, released 1980-2024 (25 x Sombre Reptiles, 15 x CBQ), was sent out into the wild - initially prepped way back in January...

Finally, out...

More next week...

Anyway, Xmas is coming...

...but the majority of the day was spent working on said next week release, "Songs of the Sombre Reptiles 1980-1995", tweaking, uploading, sleeve note writing etc etc - initial prep on this mammoth 81 track virtual 6CD or 10 LP set was also done way back in January...

Pipelines eh?

This evening, the moon was out as I continued to work...

This evening, we found Livingston v Partick on the telly (1-0 Livi), at which, via WhatsApp, Olly advised he was in attendance...

He did not have a flare and was sitting below the "H" in "Home"...

My evening was soundtracked by, mainly, new ambience from a top BlogPost from Harry Towell of WhiteLabRecs re his Top 20 of 2024, many of which I already had but those illustrated below were new into the collection today...

During this listening session, I compiled and voted for, my Top 5 of the 1980s..

Whittled from the ten above to five (from the 100 nominations, over which I had no real control)

I know it’s just my 5 but they are indeed the best and I think everyone will agree I have impeccable taste...

1 Blue Nile/Hats
2 Talk Talk/Spirit of Eden
3 Cure/Disintegration
4 Talking Heads/Remain in Light
5 David Bowie/Scary Monsters

Anyway, Friday night in the house...

Writing this on Tuesday morning and little more recalled...

Such is the way when I don't keep this up to date...

Idiot!

Highlight of the Day : Sombre Reptiles work...

Today's New Music:-
