Up late on a Saturday...
Weekend-tastic...
Listening to my "LPs of the Year 2024" playlists - soon to be podcasts - and finding downloads (cos that's quicker than ripping) re the 41 jazz CD-Rs not in my library yet...
Post that exercise, 19 remain to be ripped...
Then - out and about…
My Xmas shopping is done - bit still one thing to do for the Exec Producer...
I would advise that, if there are things you’d like and know you’re not getting from anyone, get them for yourself, wrap them up and add a tag “from Santa”...
That’s how I got “A Young Person’s Guide to King Crimson” in 1976...
Out and down the hill...
...my new boots, despite slight toe pain, assisted once again...
45 minutes post house exit, I was at the bottom of Lothian Rd awaiting my second bus of the day for a meet in Morningside with Dr Prog...
By the time I arrived, I opined I'd have been quicker getting to our rendezvous had it been arranged for Glasgow...
Anyway, the place I could nit recall the name of last time, was arrived at and it is called "Pop"...
Here the Doc contemplates his order...
....opting for bananas and peanut butter on toast, while I had the dame as the last time...
Good chat was followed by a look round a couple of shops, with me partaking in two but the Doc heading off for a swim, empty handed...
A No 23 over to Canonmills and the St Columba's Hospice shop for your correspondent, where stuff was purchased before being caught in the rain as I headed back to Princes St...
Anne messaged from post Pickleball cuppas at Lynn's and was waiting for me at the Zoo to knock 20 minutes off my homeward journey...
This, today's haul...
No listening yet though, as we enjoyed Xmas film, "Red One"...
Then, my new Bach box...
Nice...
Items secured...
In Fife this afternoon, Queens lost yet again away from home - just 2 points from 9 games - bottom of the "away" table - but 2nd in the home table - 19 points from 8 games...
Something needs to be done...
A tasty Keralan Chicken Curry for tea...
...with 20 years of "Strictly", followed by the last two of "Dalgleish" from the box...
Telly playing up (again)...
Upstairs to start the ripping of today's input...
To bed at midnight...
Highlight of the Day : Music shopping...
Today's New Music:-

"A box of Bach in the rain" may be too good a title for a blog post, sounds like an indie movie from the Sundance Festival or a romantic novel ... but what do I know?
Indeed but, you know, does what it says on the old tin, or box!
