OK - couldn't sleep after waking due to a coughing fit...

And so, up at an unGodly hour indeed...

Coffee required...

Then, to work on the third Capital Models session from 2011...

Done, dusted, uploaded, noted written - out Friday - along with "Disquietmusik VIII" and "Creek XX"...

At 10, post breakfast, out, soundtracked by this...

Along for a No 1 to meet up with Dr Prog in Polworth...

Scenes from the bus...

Discussions on WhatsApp with Mr Spark about BlueSky...

My follower count continues to expand quickly but likes remain low - why are people following?

On something called "Clearsky" (to which Sparky pointed me) I found that I am blocking just 16 people and am blocked by only 4 (no idea why) - I am also in 24 "starter packs" - this must be where the followers are coming from - people just following willy and, indeed, nilly...

38 minutes into my journey I advised Sparky that "Milwaukee Road" is very good indeed...

I alighted just before Tynecastle and walked the rest of the way as I was early for our 11 o'clock meet...

This was spotted round the corner from Cafe Florentin...

Xmas is coming...

In and chat and coffee and morning rolls...

Then, a walk down the main drag in Morningside, visiting every charity shop - this LP has a good tracklist - which I will recreate digitally tomorrow rather than paying £14 to Oxfam...

I thought I'd find nothing but, in the final couple of shops, found 4 things...

Dr Prog was more successful with his search...

We popped into a cafe - for the life of me I cannot find it on a map and don't know what it's called...

My haul at this point - for £4, comprised these...

...while Dr Prog's £6.50 haul comprised these...

The doc had lemon cake and a coffee...

Me?

I enjoyed this late lunch...

Post this, we parted and I jumped on a 23 over to Canonmills, passing where Goldberg's used to be at Tollcross...

Arrived...

After having selected "a few" CDs, these were left behind...

At 3:15 I was at the bus stop with these in my bag...

Uh oh...

Up to Princes St...

...and a 26 home - finally arriving at 4:30...

This my haul for the day - £33 - one doubler, Trio HLK (£2)...

Ripping and listening...

French punk rock...

A Tarantino soundtrack...

Previously unknown to me USA EMO band...

Do I really need more Water Music?  Hmmm...

But wait, oboe concerto!

From Cannonmlls - mostly shrink-wrapped jazz...

Guitaring...

John Lewis from the Modern Jazz Quartet...

Kind of soulful singing...

Usually a singer, on this, accomplished jazz piano - no place for vocals in jazz...

Two CDs of top jazz - the second disc piano improvs...

Tasty trumpet, bass and drums...

Fergus McCreadie - already had as a download but, for £2?  Yes indeed...

First of two from Louis Durra - trio covers from Dylan to Radiohead, in a jazz stylee...

Interesting sounding larger ensemble jazz, including top guitaring and saxing...

More Louis Durra, more covers, slightly bluesy, as they say...

Last jazz title from this Scottish drummer, stalwart of the local scene - with a pianist he knew and a bassist they met just before recording...

Hey, that's jazz...

Two CD set of 8 symphonies by Joseph Haydn's younger brother...

...and two discs of historical recordings by one of the greatest classical guitarist, ever...

All in all, top stuff....

As was Anne's tasty tea...

A "Bosch" enjoyed and the podcast recorded - limiting the amount of new music listening...

Here the content - if they make it, today's haul will be in next week's "show"...

More "Bosch" - three left in Season 1 - and bed at midnight...

A good day indeed...

Highlight of the Day : Meet up with Dr Prog & CD finds...
