Writing this and catching up...

Posted re the new collection coming out on Friday and a couple of comments re the AI cover caused me to rethink...

"Use your own art, Dave" was what I thought...

So, tried this - utilising "Untitled No 8" from 1995...

...but, in the end, went for this, the final work from my 365 pieces from 2018, "Seeing Out the Year"...

Sorted, but time not planned to have been spent on a thing...

Breakfast...

At 10, out...

Anne drove us to her mum's...

...and we took Mary along to the Gallery of Modern Art...

This was the only art we viewed...

We were here for coffee and cake...

And out...

A good time for Mary - she was on good form today...

Home around midday...

Set up some gear to record guitar and vocals over the original Capital Models recordings from 1980 as part to the "Original Canon Project"...

Anne gardened while I sang..

Lunch around 1 and "Impossible" watched...

Anne had to leave for Pickleball before it finished so I WhatsApped her re the winner's failure to win, due to not knowing which Spanish cities on the grid lie North of Madrid...

Zaragoza and Santiago de Compestela were the other correct answers, of course...

I say "of course" but , you know...

Back to my recording...

In all, around 3.5 hours to produce 80 minutes...

Meanwhile, the arrival of the much awaited binmen was also conveyed to Anne via WhatsApp...

Edited the recordings - sounded not too bad to me - Anne wondered why I was squawking 44 year old songs, quite possibly in the wrong key...

Of course, all she could hear was the squawking - everything else was in the headphones...

I am, however, fully aware of the potential foolishness of this endeavour...

Excellent salmon and broccoli pasta for tea...

...and a couple more of "Bosch"...

Xmas is coming...

More work before the end of the day..

Well, you know, I say "work", you might say "mucking about"...

Firstly, recording the podcast and getting it uploaded before the end of the day...

Then, while all today's new music was from Prog Rock Willie via the Dropbox - my reciprocal selection had to be reuploaded, as he couldn't find them...

So it goes...

Bed pre midnight...

Highlight of the Day : Coffee and cake at the gallery...
