Went to bed 10 minutes into today, listening to this...

...and woke up and listened again...

It was, of course, Xmas morning...

Anne awoke around 9 and the EP (not the EP but the EP, you know, the Xmas EP) was replayed, as we opened our presents...

Anne's main was a new hairdryer - the old one has been making, what we reckon is, rather a dangerous noise for a while now...

A new iPad cover was also, what I reckoned to be, good - the rest, sweets and puzzle books - and the annual Milano Jukebox...

...oh, and the Cat Calendar, which we'd ordered a while ago and which I'd sneakily appropriated into Anne's presents...

...and Yatzy...

Sweets too for me...

A bottle of Bailey's...

..and tickets for Stewart Lee in September - that will be good!

My main present though, was a 32 disc box set of Robert Fripp's solo music from 1977 to 1981, including absolutely masses of Frippertronics...

Yowsah!

Bacon rolls for breakfast...

...as the Xmas EP came to an end, the Milano Jukebox took over...

...and the old iPad cover was consigned to the bin...

You served us well...

A year ago today, at Kitty and Olly's instigation I started doing "BeReal"...

I've not missed too many...

I'm sure we watched a very movong "All Creatures Great and Small" Xmas Special, before heading out and over to Anne's mum's, to pick her up around 2:45...

Her room was festooned with Xmas...

...and she'd already had a top Xmas lunch in house...

Off we went...

...through the town to Keith and Maureen's...

Everyone was already there, including, star of the show, young Lily...

Uncle Blair...

Murray and Rebecca and other star, baby Ruby...

Keith and Abbie..

Maureen...

Anne and Mary...

Time for a tasty Xmas dinner...

Murray's mum, also Mary, also here...

Almost everyone is in this one, including the previously unpictured co-host, Keith...

Just the completely unpictured me and hostess Maureen missing from that one...

A top time was being had by all...

Tasty fayre from K&M...

...including a delicious unpictured Veggie Wellington option, of which I, of course, had a wee sampling...

Trifle and cheesecake too...

...before returning to the living room for more chat and carousing...

Then, time to get Mary back home...

Your not too the worse for wear correspondent was in the back..

Mary had done pretty well indeed and enjoyed the day out...

Back home and the Xmas special of "Dr Who" re the "time hotel" and how the Star of Bethlehem came about, after being swallowed by one of the Derry girls, started badly but got better, albeit with hundreds of possible nitpicks...

Anne was out after around 10 minutes, deeming it "rubbish"...

Oh, and, of course, the music was far too loud and overbearing...

What is it with "Dr Who" and the music?  Get a grip guys...

Speaking of music, this did not appear today...

It was to have been a present to me but never arrived, and, tomorrow, will be deemed "gone missing" and a refund issued...

Maybe one day...

Sweets brought back were enjoyed...

...and the Robert Fripp box awaited my attention...

"What's that? Xmas Day is over??"...

Oh well...

It was good while it lasted...

Highlight of the Day : It was Xmas Day, of course...
