For once in a blue moon, no picture of a clock first thing...

Ripped and listened to the quirky CD from yesterday...

And spent some time rehearsing with the band on "tape", including pitch shifted versions of a couple of the songs to see how they go in a different key...

Post a "Loudermilk" and a quick lunch, Anne gave me a lift over to the Botanics for the second memorial service in just over a week...

As with last Friday, the daughter of a departed chum gave a splendid speech...

Today, Ali Martin's daughter, Jenny, was amazing under the circumstances...

For those unaware of how Ali passed, Jenny firstly outlined the tragic circumstances of her mum's death...

But she then gave us the story of her mum's life and an idea of just how much Ali had affected the lives of all those around her, family, friends and work colleagues...

A lovely memorial for a lovely lady...

It was good to see many faces from the past and to catch up with Graham B, and Anne and Ralph C...

This, the scene on my departure...

I walked up Inverleith Row to Canonmills and found a new to me shop, which I was advised has been there for at least 5 years...

I picked up a trio of items for £9...

A 10 LP box set from Readers' Digest, issued around 1982...

A sealed 3CD set of disco classics, including quite a few I did not previously have...

...and a "delightful" (as I like to say) disc of chamber music...

A couple of buses home, from one of which, I spotted step niece in law Abbie, walking purposefully with her chum...

Not long now till another addition to the family emerges...

Home for some ripping and listening and a tasty chicken salad with hummus and North African bread based tea, from the ever resourceful EP...

Yep, she tricked me into eating Hummus...

Later on, we spent the entire evening bingeing the last 6 episodes of "Loudermilk", hoping against hope that the plans for further seasons come to fruition...

Highlight of the Day : Hearing about another life well lived (although it would have been better had the story not had to have been be told)...

Today's New Music:-
