Sunday and up super early...
Just toast for breakfast but Anne had a picturesque poached egg...
Over to Paul's for 10 and out to Roslin for the 2nd last rehearsal before the Dockers on 14 April...
Held up for around 30 minutes by the power socket on the headphone amp that allows us all to hear what we're playing being goosed...
What did come through was recorded on the recorder though and has led to quite an interesting "Strawberry Jam" as we call them - due to John W's daughter Chloe wanting us to be called the Chocolate Strawberries - which I suppose is less offensive than Big Fucking Car...
Various alternatives were tried until, in a moment of clarity, I realised the rest of the band could plug in to John W's headphone amp, while I could monitor matters via the headphone socket of the recorder...
And off we went...
We played through the first two 30 minute sets before taking a break...
Post that, some pics...

Architect of cake - although none today re band biscuits...
Then, two 45 minute sets played in a oner, only for the recorder to fall off the table at the end whilst still recording, causing the session to be wiped...
Damn...
Not to worry...
Back home Fang was doing the rounds and seemed to have what looked like another cat's claw stuck in his face?
He popped in for a couple of goodies but wouldn't allow us to address his facial situation and was soon back off out again...
Later, my two new docker caps arrived...
Later still, editing today under the moon...
...followed by the last "Death in Paradise" for Ralph Little...
Weekend, once again, over...
