Thursday...

First part of the morning spent creating the second versions of "Vanilla" and "Receiver" and mastering all the tracks for this upcoming CBQ LP, due in May at present, post "Dissolution IV", which is yet to be created/tecorded but which is due at the start of April (cutting it fine!) and then uploading it to Bandcamp...

Outside, Fang and Rocky were gamboling around...

Inside, it was breakfast time...

Then, over to y mum's and rearranged the furniture to make it look a bit more like a home and a bit less like a hospital room...

...and relocating some stuff to the dining room...

Then, into the hospital to see mum...

She was in reasonable spirits...

Good long discussion with the consultant who advises she will be instructing everyone who come in contact with her to be positive and upbeat about matters and that, at present, she reckons discharge in around 4 weeks' time...

On the way home, a stop at the Gyle and WH Smith...

...to pick up the latest The Wire, with The Wire Tapper 64 attached...

Spent some time this afternoon, learning two of my most recent songs (from last June), "Decades" and "The Limousine"...

Some other listening and reading pre a tasty lamb burger and salad...

This evening, around 7, out and over to the Safari Lounge for Out of the Bedroom - my first time there in a very long time...

Tonight was No 764 - my first appearance back in February 2003 was at No 59!

I'm pretty sure this was my first time back since November 2018 (No 679 - 85 editions ago)...

It used to be weekly but has been fortnightly for quite a while now and also takes a break during the Edinburgh Festival...

Set up was underway and a Diet Irn Bru was secured...

There were a few debutantes playing tonight...

Then, me - with my two new songs, "Decades" and "The Limousine", plus "Another Happy Day" from 2003...

Grant B Robertson - brilliant funny songs - mostly to be found on YouTube..

And, rounding off the night, a walk in, Jot, who hadn't played for 4 years but it didn't show...

Post night chat ensued...

Before I drove home and Anne and I showed Jorg in Germany where the Shift buttons are on the keyboard...
