Scenes...

1st play of the day, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite - it's not the full ballet - which is Opus 71 - but an orchestral suite, which has proved much more popular over the years - Opus 71a...

This was my second ever classical CD - Christmas 1985...

Still pristine - the wonder of CD...

A bit of a breakfast today...

Random LP was one of the worst so far...

Hadn't heard it for ages and thought it might be better than I remembered - but, it wasn't...

...not a patch on his work with Ultravox! or indeed, Ultravox...

Anne had two good trips out today - to Soth Queensferry for ice cream with Jane and their mum then some lunch - and, later, a trip to chum Lynn's - where partner Ross had some interesting prison stories as ever - including a "dirty protest" scenario which sounded, shall we say, "unpleasant"...

Meanwhile, the beast was about its business...

...with his concerned face re chums who laugh in the face of social distancing...

Idiots...

Enjoyed some of this - I made it back in 1999...

A track each from the 17 earliest LP acquisitions which I then still owned (including 6 by Alice Cooper). These were pre download days, of course, but I was still only missing 7 of my first 24...

Which was pretty good...

I have them all back now...

Meanwhile, Anne was once again excelling herself with this weeks Spag Bog...

..while the squirrel had something it likes...

The first two episodes of season two of "Berlin Station" were enjoyed - with a call to my mum between them...

Off to a very good start...

Then, to podcasting...

Outside, the sky prepped for a thunder storm...

...which came and went, as I recorded the links, edited the links and put it all together...

...before bed at the ungodly early hour of 11:18pm...

Highlight of the Day :  Spaghetti - King of Pastas...
