I thought it was Friday - a cruel trick of the mind...

Oh well...

Back room nice and tidy again...

I rearranged the box sets to take all the rather large ones out to their own collective place, giving matters a less higgeldy-piggeldy look...

We moved closer to said Friday...

Closer to the weekend...

Closer to July...

Closer to 2021...

Closer to what was once the future...

Today's classical piece, the next of the seven Tchaikovskys - his Piano Concerto No 1 - which arrived three weeks ago but was purposefully not listened to until now...

Then, today's random LP was a cracker - ex-Neu and La Dusseldorf drummer, Thomas Dinger's - as far as I know - only album...

No, wait, he issued another in 2015 of recordings made in 1999/2000...

...the search is on...

Love the Neu!-ness of this...

More from the postie...

More string quartets...

Three tasty discs..

Russian quartets from Taneyev...

..and Prokofiev...

The Prokofiev is signed by Roger Coull...

.
...but is a PDO pressing, infamous for their disintegration...

Luckily, it plays fine...

The third was a top disc from Greek/Canadian composer Hatzis - incorporating train sounds and Inuit throat singing...

Much better than that might suggest!

I also sold a DVD so, into the attic to fetch it...

The tidying I did the other day remains tidy...

New ink also arrived - I only actually needed black but it's more economical to buy the full set...

Downstairs, more aromas...

Sconetastic from the EP...

Lunch with "Father Brown"...

...and scones...

Out for a walk down to the Post Office - noting this wee monkey in the back garden...

The April podcast re my top ten acquisitions that month was also uploaded...

Tasty pasta for tea...

A call with my mum - still no word on her release - but, as I keep reminding her, she's kind of in a hotel at the moment so it could be a lot worse- of course she just wants to get home...

"Berlin Station" series one finished for us last night - season two will probably start tomorrow..

This might too...

Last pic of the day...

The moon was out...

Highlight of the Day : Scones of course...
