Slept in - which is always annoying...

When WHF, it makes all the difference having a couple of hours to do stuff before WFH...

Oh well...

Anyway, up just before 7...

Views...

This morning's classical piece was J Strauss Jnr's "The Blue Danube" and I decided to play the longer of the two variants of it on this disc...

Still life on the coffee run...

Later, breakfast with Anne...

Later still, the last of yesterday's scones from Anne...

...and this arrived - one of two discs awaited re filling perceived holes in the collection...

Beautiful old stuff...

For lunch...

...on toast...

Reasonable...

Accompanied, of course, by "Father Brown" and the start of a new series which saw the departure of the wonderful Lady Felicia...

Late afternoon, lovely aromas wafted up from the kitchen...

Red Thai Chicken Curry for tea...

At 8, "Holby City" was a reasonably depressing episode - for some of the characters...

Today's random record was Kraftwerk...

They had not quite gone full electro by this point - more Krautrock than the style people nowadays know and love...

I bought it on 10 May 1982, according to my diaries - I noticed an entry a month later had been snowpaked over for some reason - maybe I wrote it in on the wrong day...

I was able to read it by treating a photo...

Late on, some reggae suggested by Twitter...

And some reading on classical music...

Lights out just before 12...

Wednesday gone...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's curry...
