Up at 6, on the dot...

The beast was about its business....

..which, initially, was playing today's classical piece, by Schumann...

Good Stuff...

A new download from Tangerine Dream's Thorsten Quaeschning soundtracked breakfast...

Both soundtrack and breakfast were also deemed Good Stuff...

Big day for my mum today and I was out at her home in Loanhead, along with sister Sheila, who you can just see behind the door - and who had brought freshly baked scones...

Sadly, mum was not home for good but back for an assessment from Occupational therapists...

She smashed it though, it has to be said, despite having been super worried about it...

And so, now, a care package needs to be reinstated and she can get back to her own chair, her own TV and her Tivo box of "Midsummer Murders"...

Good Stuff indeed...

On the way home, I managed somehow to secure some flour at the store I used to shop at on a Saturday with my mum in the late 60's and early 70's...

And so, scones are on my agenda too...

Good Stuff...

Back home, our neighbour's dad has been toiling away for ages converting their front garden back to something that resembles "normal" after the person who owned the place around three owners ago horrendified the front and back of what our original neighbour, George, had lovingly tended over the years...

Again then, Good Stuff...

This afternoon, my A-Z of lesser known jazz titles reached L - a veritable quartet of "Good Stuff"...

For tea tonight, a tasty baked potato...

Mmmm...

More Good Stuff...

Today's random LP was a Roedelius title bought at Pick Up in Kassel in 1980...

Good stuff ...

While I was out at my mum's, electrician Matthew had been busy installing the new sensor and light at the back door...

It works...

Good stuff....

Tonight's soundtrack was music from the 70's...

Good Stuff...

And Anne's painting is progressing at pace...

Good....well, you get the idea...

Lights out...

...or, rather...

Lights on...

Highlight of the Day : Mum back in her home, albeit briefly...
