The beast was about its business first thing, listening to the latest demos of his forthcoming (hopefully) LP...

Good skies...

...as I uploaded the March podcast...

More Tchaikovsky - his violin concerto...

...and a beautiful morning with coffee enjoyed outside...

I could just see Rory Custard through his gate...

A visit from Fang the Black Cat...

...he wanted me to come with him under the gate to visit Rory Custard...

After this brief sojourn outside, the rest of the day was, as usual, spent indoors...

Today's random LP, Kraftwerk again...

My diary notes that I bought this on 18 May 1981 at PickUp in Kassel, Deutschland for the then Deutschmark equivalent of £3.40 - £13.33 in today’s money. It will probably always sound like it was recorded yesterday...

All of the above was before the arrival, around 9:30, of nephew Ali to do a couple of things for us...

Off he went to more small jobs here and there...

This afternoon's listening comprised the choices thus far re Saturday's Eclectic Selection podcast, (2020 Vol 26). I listen to hours of music daily but whittle that down to around 15 mins each day for the listeners' delight...

You can find all my podcasts here...

In the late afternoon, aromas started drifting through the house...

Anne was at work prepping a new to us dish, Middle Eastern Vegetable Stew - or, to use the preferred by sister in law Jane title, Middle Eastern Vegetable Tagine...

Home made flatbreads were also on the menu...

Yumtastic of course!

Another triumph for the Exec Producer...

With the work in the back room complete, I was soundtracked by the funky Parliament comp purchased in Shropshire last year - a lifetime away now - as I put things back into place...

The back room back to "normal"...

Then, the weekly family Zoom quiz - which we won again but only just...

Next week, we will be the quizmasters...

Final views of the day...

...before "Berlin Station" and bed...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's tagine and flatbreads...
