A 2CD set of 20th Century music - over 50 pieces featured...

...and this as, while reading my "Chronicle of Classical Music" re the very earliest existing scores, I was intrigued by the chat on Heinrich Isaac...

And an extremely tasty 7CD box, brand new, of Danish composer Holmboe's string quartets - which are favourably compared to those of both Shostakovitch and Bartok by the cognoscenti...

First thing, in the knowledge that the end of the month is fast approaching, I had a trawl through LPs released so far in June and managed to secure a few, meaning today's new acquisitions rose to 10...

...which made me happy...

In the evening, the daily call to my mum - still doing fine but still no sign of a release date...

Then, time for bed...
