Out onto the road...

A beautiful day...

The cathedral...

Beautiful still in the afternoon, as I returned to an empty house, walking, for the first time in a long time, down past what was once the college now a building site (for a goodly number of years - why is it taking so long?)...

A rather large squirrel entertained...

I am a fan...

...of squirrels...

On down home...

...and two cups of coffee while I mucked about on the laptop waiting for Anne's return...

...at which point another very tasty salad was enjoyed...

We also enjoyed "Two Broke Girls" and "37 Days", the latter (re the period just prior to the outbreak of WWI) having languished on the Tivo for some considerable time but found tonight, at last, to be quite excellent...

Looking forward to the remainder of the series...

Ended the day with some quartets from Mozart and my own ambient quartet created in January and yet to be released...

Meanwhile, Anne was disappointed to find Hibernian had won the first leg of their play off final against Hamilton Academical 2-0 - the second leg is on Saturday at Easter Road...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Listening again to my ambient quartet and finding it to be "no bad"...
