What on Earth have we done...

Cloudland Blue Quartet – Track of the Day
“What On Earth Have We Done” from “Anotherhappyday” (2003)

Playlist
Various - Edinburgh to Hemel Playlist
David Guetta - Nothing But the Beat
David Bowie - The Singles Collection
Various - Classic Rock & Pop Jukebox on Shuffleplay

Breakfast today comprised tasty omlettes...

Followed by check out and a last look around the town, including the purchase of a disc of piano trios by Dvorak and Smetana...

A four hours straight drive via Bradford, Leeds and the M1 took us to Hemel...

We arrived at Pam's house around 1:45.  It didn't feel as bad as I'd expected - I'd been dreading it - probably because Pam wasn't there and she isn't ill any more...

To Tesco for provisions...

...and then to Pam's office to hand back her laptops, printer, router etc etc and some CDs of the music featured at her funeral, for colleagues who weren't able to make the trip up to Scotland in December...

Home and, as the sun went down...

...pizzas for tea and a visit from Pam's ex-brother in law, Paul and family...

Paul is going to be fixing the fence which blew down a few weeks back...

Panels, posts and postcrete were duly purchased...

Later on, a welcome visit from Pam's chums, sisters Michelle and Suzanne...

A good time was had.  They had intended to stay for an hour but actually stayed for three...

Best comment of the night was Suzanne advising she only knew of David Bowie from the film "Labyrinth"!

Last thing, Anne received a text advising Hearts had made into the Scottish Cup semi-finals to play Celtic...

Tomorrow, the work begins...

Highlight of the Day : Seeing old chums again...
