Up early and packing the car with stuff to be taken home...
We left at 08:00...
By 9 we were almost in the midlands...
By 10 we were back in Yorkshire...
...and by 11 we were back on the stretch between Harrogate and Skipton...
At midday, we had driven back through Skipton and on to Settle...
We enjoyed lunch at the Lion...
Settle pudding...
Tasty...
Back on the road by 1...
...with the Exec Producer in navigator mode...
...we left Settle...
...and, at 2, we were almost at Carlisle, passing a train on a truck...
A falling asleep at the wheel scenario was followed by a pit stop for coffee at Southwaite at 3...
By 4 we were on the M74 heading towards Glasgow...
...and, at 4:45, we were at Julia's...
... to pick up the pie...
...and some tasty treats from Julia's kitchen...
At 5 we were taking Julia through Bathgate to her mum's before heading home...
...where Meg was soon setled in...
The rest of the evening was spent posting pictures here and unpacking...
Julia's pork patties in satay sauce were very tasty...
To bed late...
Glad of our own bed once again...
Lights out...
