Not much to tell today so I’ll keep it short...

Mostly classical music in the cans...

Nothing much happened during the day...

Post a tasty Paprika Pork tea, in the evening, sadly, sans camera, we drove out to Loanhead to see my mum...

We were taking out a few of Pam’s things from the pile of stuff we’d taken away last Sunday after Sheila’s visit to Pam’s home in Hemel Hempstead...

One of these items was a newsletter from Pam’s work, with an article from the time when Pam moved from a sister company to what turned out to be her final job...

They referred to her as the “Charismatic Credit Controller” – couldn’t have put it better myself...

It brought a tear to my old mum’s eye...

Other than that though, mum was upbeat and in good form – relating the story of how, unbeknown to her at the time, she’d suffered Cold Turkey from her liquid morphine tablets over the weekend, when her doctor had changed her medication too quickly...

She’s now back on them but being gradually weaned off and switched to new, better and, hopefully, less addictive drugs...

Back home in time for a BBC debate on Scottish Football – quite timely what with the much hoped for but probably unlikely to actually happen (though fingers crossed) demise of the dirty cheating Rangers of Glasgow...

I am ashamed to say I was once a supporter but, thankfully, not during the last 20 or so years, during which time it would appear they have been giving themselves an unfair advantage by, unlike all the other teams with whom they were competing, erm not paying their tax and national insurance bills...

They are a disgrace and deserve everything that’s coming to them though, sadly, it’s unlikely they will be demoted to the bottom of the third division (unlike other clubs who have lived outwith their means – but not cheated quite as much as the mighty Gers)...

Because they are too big...

Pathetic...

Highlight of the Day : Annie’s Paprika Pork...
