Tumbling off please...

Playlist
Spock's Beard - Spock's Beard
Frost* - Milliontown
Sparks - Terminal Jive
Donald Byrd - The Cat Walk

Started the day at 00:45 by getting up and dressed and going to my next door neighbour's door and asking him politely "What is that noise coming from your house?"...

To which the reply came "oh, it's my tumble dryer"..

"Well can you switch it off now please? Maybe use it during the day when I'm not trying to sleep?"

"Oh, ok, sorry"

Job done...

Back to bed without the incessant rumbling and vibrating shaking Crispycat Towers...

Morning soundtrack of the great Spock's Beard, who will be witnessed in early July by your correspondent and Dr Prog - also listened to just announced support band, Frost* - tasty!

The same month will see the long-awaited release (by me anyway) of a new album by my all time No 1 artiste Mr Alice Cooper...

To FOPP at lunchtime - new month, new CD - Donald Byrd's excellent "The Cat Walk" from their current £4 Blue Note promotion (sorry for the rubbish reproduction of the sleeve)...

I particularly love Pepper Adams' baritone sax...

Back home and, wonder of wonders, Sparks' "Terminal Jive" CD has arrived 50 days after ordering it...

"Angst in My Pants" by the same band, who appeared tonight on "The Culture Show", remains undelivered...

Probably ate too much pasta and didn't go to the gym - fat, lazy tube...

Entertained late doors by Alan Yentob's "Imagine", this week a remarkable programme on Dr Oliver Sacks' studies into the relationship between music and the brain...

We taped "Law & Order : Criminal Intent" for later viewing...

Have you visited the Crispycat Library yet? - your choice...

Highlight of the Day : The tumble dryer being switched off...
