Asia - Phoenix
Bill Bruford - Summerfold Sampler DVD
Various - Last FM Player on Cloudland Blue
Various - Classic Trance Nation
Spent much of yesterday and today listening to the mighty Uriah Heep - a favourite band of mine since late 1972 - you'd probably think they're rubbish but that means nothing to me...
Home too late to get to the gym, so I watched a Bill Bruford DVD instead...
Whilst browsing a book on Graphic Design, I came across this poster for the Hans Brinker Budget Hotel in Amsterdam, where Anne and I lived in 1982 - seminal times...
If you Google the hotel, you can find some of the great tongue in cheek posters used to build its brand...
I can still remember the rickety lift and strange smells - one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in and Anne would never go back but, if I was going to the 'Dam on my own now, I'd take a chance on it - I loved it there back in '82...
Our room was a bit better than the poster suggests of course...
Upon Anne's return from her Monday night "keep fit" class, we had a lovely dinner of trout with potatoes and asparagus -Mmmm...
After enjoying the sounds of Asia (the band, not the continent), Anne decide to watch some programme with Trinny and Susanna - so I made my way upstairs and added some more free downloads to the Crispycat Library whilst listening to the Cloudland Blue Last FM Player...
Take a look - there are now over 100 tracks from around 20 releases (including the whole of my brand new EP) all available for free - up to you though...
Later on "Numb3rs" entertained followed by some trance music and more uploading...
Highlight of the Day : Anne's culinary skills yet again...
