To PC World for our booked appointment to have the computer’s ports upgraded by the addition of a USB 2.0 card...

While we waited for the work to be done, we went next door to Oddbins on a quest for some good Italian wine – this Friday we are hosting another family wine night at Crispycat Towers...

Having chosen the Veneto region and three excellent wines which originated there, we headed back into PC World...

The call came to go back to the Tech Guys’ corner and we were advised that we couldn’t add a USB 2.0 Port card to our PC as it conflicted with the elaborate Sound Card I had installed at outset for my music recording exploits...

With a few wise words in our ears and a refund on our credit card we made our way home and reinstalled the PC tower in its place...

Still slow...

In the evening, “Coronation Street”, the last in the series of “Michael Palin’s New Europe” and “Match of the Day 2” entertained...

Mid-evening Meg the Black Cat brought another, smaller (than has been her wont recently) mouse into the house and deposited it in the CD room upstairs...



It made its way behind one of the “Walls of Sound” (seen above on the left of the picture) which had to be completely dismantled to save the beastie while Meg languished locked in the bathroom...

Suffice to say the mouse was saved and deposited in a garden a few doors away...
