Saturday morning...
October away...
Up and working on my music...
At 7:05, I messaged Mr Spark to advise I would treat the video soundtrack as a prototype...
Then, breakfast...
...then, back to Edward Spark's video clip...
The music lasted around 1 minute and 25 seconds but I looped it four times to give me a 5 minute 40 second backing track to work with on my lyrics and vocal...
By around midday, I was able to put my first version of the track, "The First Thing", into the Drobox...

In the afternoon, radio silence as Sparky was out watching his beloved Penicuik Athletic...
Meanwhile, Queens were busy losing again, this time 2-0 away at East Fife...
At 5:30 the verdict from ES - "Really love the new vocals. Sounds great and really fits the track!"
Good stuff!
Then, "I'll do the first pass of the production cos I'll have more synths and possibly tweaks to the structure. That'll enable you to form your vocals so you're happy with your arrangement."
Tasty takeaway from Wongs for tea...
It was the weekend...
...and, later, with a few more episodes of "Lupin", grapes, banana and yoghurt...
...and the "Marble Hall Murders" was finished off...
Late on, another message from Sparky: "Been playing the new choon a fair bit tonight and the votes are in. It's F****** BRILLIANT 💪 Might still only be in demo mode, but we've created a bastard of a wee gem right there. Well. Chuffed..."
My response? "I agree. It's really rather good."
Lights out on a good day (apart from Queens)...
