Then - an idea - BlueSky chum, Wurmpth Furdber (Matt LeGroulx) posts short videos of him learning saxophone - he took it up two years ago - he's a music teacher from Montreal...
Anyway, I spliced together around 6 and a half minutes of his videos and treated that in various different ways and added to it recent stems re my work with Edward Spark, plus new field recordings and, next thing I knew, I had a new 52 minute piece...
Sparky was pleased - I provided it to him advising I doubted he'd be able to last the full 52 minutes but he did!
And so "Pareidolia (Parts I-VI)" joined the fray...
I sent it to Matt this afternoon seeking his permission to issue it at some point, with a credit to him for the sax playing - he advised he was looking forward to hearing it and I await his opinion...
It might lead to something...
The rest of the morning was taken up with diary writing and music listening (mainly the new thing)...
This afternoon was spent watching episodes 1 to 4 of the 4th season of "The Diplomat"...
We definitely got sucked in...
Coffee and chocolate helped...
It was Wednesday, so Anne had been at Zumba while I'd worked on the new music...
Post deciding not to watch all 8 episodes of "The Diplomat", I did some listening and gathering in of new music...
Tasty Italian Sausage & Prawn Pasta tea from the EP...
This evening, we continued with "The Marble Hall Murders" and, then, returned to "Scandal", with Season 6 having taken a turn for the better during our last session...
Of course we were sucked in again and I think at least 3, possibly 4 episodes filled our evening...
Late on some more listening...
Gentle Giant's "I Lost My Head" 4CD set - which, when adding it to iTunes, back in the day, I'd split into the LPs included - so I added the full comp back to the library and enjoyed a few tracks...
New stuff too from Martin Gore of Depeche Mode...
And ended the day with the new thing, in the back room...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Creating music, the return of "The Diplomat" and "Scandal" getting better again...
