Another Monday and into week 44...

Working first thing on recent new things...

Changing the CBQ Spark Legroulx track's name to "Precipitation" and working on a completely different mix after listening to it all the way through a few times yesterday and this morning when I woke at 4...

The good news is, it's only 40 mins now...

Then had another idea and created three more tracks, each consisiting solely of the work of one of us..

It'll be like the Kiss solo LPs (sort of) - Precipitation, the Edward Spark content, the Matt LeGroulx content, the CBQ content - 4 for the price 1...

Then, to doing a brand new absolute killer bonus version of the Kissing Tree for Edward Spark's upcoming LP. ("killer" is, of course, subjective)...

"The Kissing Tree (CBQ Ambush For Crows Mix)"...

Then, off out re Capital Models...

With Johnny B having just retired from the group, now drummer Johnny W just had to have an operation so it's all a bit up in the air....

And so, around 11, off to the infirmary to see said drummer - 11 years to the day since my own life-saving op!

Coincidentally, it was 30 years ago today that John and Moira were married - both Moira and Dr Prog, Johnny's brother, were in attendance...

He was feeling not to bad after  just a 45 minute op where everything was known beforehand and there were no surprises for the doctors...

Which is good...

Obviously, this healing is going to stop him for drumming for quite a wee while...

Not as neat a job as my stitches...

Stories of operations and hospital stays and the delights of Morphine were exchanged and laughs were had...

Back home for lunch...

...and an afternoon of creating drum tracks for bassist Keith and I to continue playing while Johnny recuperates...

This evening, 110 at "University Challenge" with "Mastermind also having been watched before the remainder of the night being taken up with the final season of "Scandal"...

Highlight of the Day: Making new music...
