Right!
Come on Dave! It's Sunday morning, let's get Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday up to date...
After the usual early morning shenanigans, post breakfast, it was off to the doctor to ask about patches on my bonce and an update re the lumps in my left hand...
As I waited to see the very nice young lady who attended to me, I noted a few posters on the wall...
Will I pay any heed?
Maybe...
I picked up a booklet too from the BHF...
It seems everything which tastes nice is bad for you...
But I've known that for a long time...
Anyway, came away with two prescriptions - one for Ibuprofen Gel to put on my hind if /when it gets sore - it's unclear for how long I may still be able to play the guitar...
Well...
I say "play" but, you know...
I have Dupuytren's Contracture, a condition in which one or more fingers will become permanently bent in a flexed position...
And, re my head, relieved to receive confirmation that it is nothing too sinister...
I came away with a script for this cream for my head...
...which I can advise, on time travelling back to here from Sunday morning,, is working, I think...
I have Actinic Keratoses (also called Solar Keratosis)...
I should continue to wear a hat when out and about...
Anyway, to the chemist to have my prescriptions filled...
A ten minute wait, so popped to the hospice hop and bought this mystery package for £1...
I was intrigued...
In the Shelter shop, I wondered what Donald Trump's speeches would look like in a book...
A moronic imbecile is in charge of the USA...
Jeez oh...
Anyway...
Creams received, I made my way back home, only to find this...
Accordingly, CDs binned, box kept...
It was Wednesday...
...and, this afternoon, we finished the 7th and final season of "Scandal"...
A reasonable ending but it was becoming so preposterous, it will not leave top huge a hole...
We started watching on 14 August - so we have watched 124 episodes in 68 days...
And then, a tasty pappardelle with steak ragu tea...
..and then, Anne was off to watch Hearts come from behind and almost beat Scotland's newest club 20-1 - but a very late equaliser lost the Jam Tarts 2 points...
Back at Crispycat, new ear buds arrived following the goosedness of one of the previous pair bought last December...
Music was listened to and the internet was mucked about on...
Looking back at previous years' 28th Octobers...
Six years ago today
"Discussions with Edward Spark on various items...
The upshot is, he will, as well as working on remixes for the 8th CD ( of "Sparklemusik" ), cook up a version of the song "The Traffic in the Distance" which was written up North last summer but has never been fully recorded other than with vocal and acoustic guitar...
He is also going to work on some acoustic drum tracks for possible future use..."
In the end drums he provided were used for the track, I did the guitar and the singing...
Tune wise, it bears no resemblance to the original song...
You can find it here...
On Anne's return, were watched pre bed...
Wednesday over...
Highlight of the Day: Head condition not sinister...
