Second last day of May began with a relaxing morning...

The slimmed down set up...

I listened to the full one hour version of "Morphine Codex" from "Morphinecodex", the name of the picture which now hangs on the living room wall of chums Impossible Songs in South Queensferry...

Post some Capital Models, disco and reggae listening, we drove to SQ to spend the afternoon with IS i.e. John and Ali...

A gloriously sunny afternoon in their garden - your correspondent now has a rather burnt neck...

Lovely salad for lunch, with prosecco and wine for the others and non-alchohol beer for me...

Took this while John and Ali attended an unexpected scenario with their fridge...

The views from the bottom of the garden...

The best home made scones in the world with fruit, jam and cream followed...

...before we moved down into the garden and spent the entire afternoon chatting about this, that, and, indeed, the next thing - with much pontification and laughter...

IF you look closely you can see a bee having a rest on Anne's hat...

She was also attended to, at one point, by an unpictured small blackbird...

Sadly, my phone died mid-afternoon before being able to record Ali and I for posterity...

John also provided me with a copy of the new CD by old chum and birthday buddy, Norman Lamont and his band...

A top notch day indeed...

A bit of a traffic jam on the way home led to a convoluted route being chosen by the driver but, eventually, we made it...

Later on, a late tea enjoyed...

...along with episode 2 of "Annika"...

Even later on, I set about uploading the next CBQ and Creek releases to Bandcamp, which will be sent into the void on Friday...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : An afternoon in a sunny garden...
