Despite the late retiral earlier this morning, awoke just after 7...

However, I promptly fell back asleep, giving just over half an hour, upon my reawakening, to take down the equipment, pack the car and head to Roslin for today's rehearsal at 10...

...with 3 minutes to spare...


Paul was absent due to mum duties but the remaining quartet soldiered on, playing, firstly, the previously decided upon sets for Vassia's upcoming wedding and, then, a second session of fifteen added songs, two each from me, Keith, Stu and Paul, three from John and four requests from Vassia and her fiance, Kev...

It went well, considering many of these we'd not played for over a year...

A quick visit to my mum on the way home...

She enjoyed the pics from the Alston trip...

Back home, I promptly fell asleep, to be awoken by Anne who'd been at her mum's and, prior to that, at Tynecastle to see 10 man Hearts hold on for a 1-1 draw with arch rivals Hibernian, to maintain 4th position and guarantee a place in Europe next season...

Who insulted our TV...

On his exit, we finished off the 1st season of "Black Ops" ("Colin From Accounts" we finished on Thursday on our return from Cumbria), while "Have I Got News For You" and "Taskmaster" also entertained - and there were football highlights too...
