Around 1, down the hill for a bus across to Meadowbank for a week late due to our holiday birthday celebration with old music chum Ian Sclater and his wife Christie, along with a couple of their neighbours, plus Glasgow author, Alasdair Soussi, who has just published a book on the life of Scottish artist James McBay, and graphic designer and musician, David White (aka Boy-48)...
And, Franco the dog...

After much chat, good drink, tasty food and a very enjoyable time indeed, a bus back home...

Young Rocky visited on our return but declined the invitation to enter Crispycat Towers...
By the time we got home, we'd missed the first hour of the Eurovision Song Contest but were able to go back and watch via the Tivo - which meant too, that we could spin through the tedious jury votes, in time to catch the public's points being added to the, so-called, professionals' scores...
As ever, my own score card was the one that counted...
A spectacular evening...
...and, after last years blip, the voting reverted to type with the UK and Germany hardly being awarded any points and finishing as the last two on the board...
Harsh...
