Up too early, even though it wasn't as early as I'm usually up but, today I was up for a reason...

We had to take the car across town for its service...

Out into the cold...

Arrived in good time and handed over car and keys and then walked to Portobello...

...noting a stream I had not previously known about...

We ended up in Miro's Pantry...

...for warming coffee...

...and breakfast rolls...

Emerging around 9:10, we jumped on the bus that would take us all the way home (in around 80 minutes or so!)...

The bus was freezing...

Bitterly cold too, as we walked down to the house...

...for more coffee...

..and for me to work for most of the rest of the day on updating the Crispycat Website to make it this website you're on...

A couple of hours after arriving home, we got the call to say the car was ready - Anne headed back over on the bus and home again in the serviced car...

160 on "University Challenge" - not the same as last week as, although I said 160, we actually got 165...

Some closer listening back to yesterday's session and noting that we did indeed play "Video Killed the Radio Star" slightly wrongly but that we did actually play it completely correctly back in June...

Ended the day by working on a possible new "composer" album re Bartok's string quartets...

We'll see...
