Tuesday morning and up just after 6, ostensibly to write this up but that did not happen...
Stuff had been moved for blind implementation...
...and the skies were good...
As I opened the curtains, I spotted Fang at the end of the path...
When he saw me, he came trotting down for a visit...
I noted something on his nose and, on entry, realised it was paint...
What had the wee man been up to?
Anyway, investigations...
...led to some big biting and wounding...
...but I still love him...
Breakfast...
Instead of writing this diary, I took some time to compile my lists of Good LPs from specific years re thus far missing years - 1959, 60, 61, 62, 63, 67, 83, 86, 92, 99...
Leaving me with 2001, 07, 13, 19 and 20 still to do...
Mid morning, the blind man arrived and carried out efficient and swift work to add his wares to the living, dining and upstairs back rooms...
After completion, I returned the third mentioned room to its former state...
...but noted I had enjoyed the "nothing below the window" view the preparation for the work had unveiled...
Anne made green soup, enjoyed for lunch along with more "Kominsky Method"...
In the afternoon, omens were good...
..and so I pulled the trigger on a new laptop...
The current one sprang into life on 18 August 2013 - just got caught up reading my entries for that day and the couple of weeks or so thereafter - a very productive time indeed...
Meanwhile, a tasty tea from Anne...
...and a visit from Jack, returning the two guitars lent to him on Friday...
Once again present and correct in the back room, with its new blinds...
On "University Challenge" 160 was accrued (winning tally), our highest score this year, helped along by a veritable plethora of correct answers re the 10 point starter questions...
Anne was on fire, as they say...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Ordering a new laptop...although with the inevitable buyer's regret kicking in immediately...
