The view from the office this morning...
...in the dark...
There were lights in the darkness...

...and to bringing this up to date for the last five days - a long laborious task which, including uploading the pics, doing the playlists (the longest, most laborious task - however, tomorrow I will discover how to edit what gets sent to the clipboard under MusicBee, making things a lot simpler) and writing what may have happened, took me until lunchtime, albeit with a break for breakfast...
Mid morning, the postie brought this...
I had to have it of course but, frankly, Documenta 15 was a pile o' shite...
It's telling that the most interesting pictures in this handbook are those of the venues, rather than anything they contained...
A monumental error in my opinion to have handed the curation to the Ruangrupa...
In five years' time, I will be hoping for some art instead of the amateurish, childish pish that populated this quinquennial edition of what is suppose to be one of the most pre-eminent art exhibitions on the planet...
Anyway, a nice salad for lunch...
...and we finished off what turned out to be the excellent "Karen Pirie"...
Fang had come in this morning to get out of the rain and remained in situ on the bed until asking to leave, around 3pm...
This evening, with Anne off to pilates, I cooked...
I put together a masala paste...
...and "did" some potatoes in the oven...
...along with, under instruction from Anne, salmon...
It turned out* tasty...
(*after the potatoes had to be microwaved for 5 minutes post oven and post addition of coating as they were found to have been "not quite properly cooked")...
A partial triumph...
The second episode of "The Devil's Hour" was creepy and scary, like the first...
Closed the day with listening as I continued to make my way through my LPs of the day for 2022...
Highlight of the Day : Getting this up to date...and cooking...
