Up early and, out the back...

...a planet, I assume Venus, was shining...

Out the front, at least one neighbour seemed to be up...

Mucking about with various lists this morning - listening to the content while I did so - including a new one, of my Top Fives, for the years covered to date (41 of them), re the fortnightly thing of choosing five LPs from a certain year...

Around 11, out and over to Betty's...

..for more dog walking duties...

Rafa point blank refused to go down the steps at Roseburn to the Water of Leith...

So, through the park it was...

...spotting a heron on the way in...

Anne was in charge...

...while I took pictures...

I particularly like this one...

Back to Betty's for a coffee and a biscuit before heading home...

Some "Elementary" and lunch...

Nothing much done or achieved in the afternoon...

Writer Mark Paytress tweeted about this book - his goes to 1979, mine to 1982 - a wonderful resource, pre internet...

Fang had been in and out today and returned once more...

...while Anne prepped tonight's Keralan Curry and we listened to Stewart Lee on the radio...

Said curry enjoyed with wine...

...and an evening of telly - "Strictly" is back - I watched with headphones, enjoying Eno, Fripp & Sylvian - then an "Elementary", followed by the highlights of tonight's football - another win for Scotland, coming from behind to beat Eire 2-1 at Hampden...

England were relegated into Section B of Europe last night - tonight, Scotland are on the cusp of being promoted into Section A...

That's good...

Final scenes of the Saturday...

...spent, mostly, at home, doing nothing much...

Which is fine and dandy...

Highlight of the day : Another win for Scotchland...
