Slept like a log and woke to a lovely day, sun-wise – though still cold and windy...

Home made soup sustained us in the evening while we watched “Coronation St” and taped episodes of “Not Going Out” and “Law and Order”...

Communication...

A call from Count Brodski re a rearranged get-together soon...

A call from Creeky Cobblers re a visit to Depeche Mode in December...

A complimentary e-mail from an old school chum who recently stumbled across my works on t’internet and is enjoying a couple of my albums...

Confirmation of a visit to Chateau Impossible this weekend...

More entertainment...

Girls Aloud’s new video for my favourite track off their latest album was premiered tonight on Channel 4 – another top ten hit beckons, I hope, for “Untouchable”...

The vid has touches of “2001 A Space Odyssey” about it – which is weird as, last thing, I created a new podcast of early 20th Century classics inspired by my current read “The Rest is Noise” by Alex Ross – and it opens with the opening music from that very film, Richard Strauss’ “Also Sprach Zarathustra”...

You can find it over on the podcasts blog...

Highlight of the Day : New Girls Aloud and chum communication...
