All very nice and inspiring, great ambience, lovely CDs but nothing in the way of bargains which took my fancy – and the Haydn Symphonies Box Set is £60 compared to HMV’s £50..

Wait, I tell a lie, they had a 150CD box set of Haydn’s complete works on Brilliant, which I’ve not seen elsewhere, for £99...

My plans for possibly buying this with the gains of a “sure fire” bet on a horse at Cheltenham were scuppered when the nag fell away in the final stages, taking my £20 note with it...

In the evening, home in daylight for a change and these jet-trails graced the sky...





Cooked with the Exec Producer, producing a superb meal of steak, mushroom, onions and fries with a nicely nippy pepper sauce...

In between watching taped “Not Going Out” and “Law & Order”, I gathered together one track each from the 66 (!!) CDs acquired so far this year, with a view to creating some new podcasts...

The day was rounded off nicely by the arrival in the inbox of a cracking new piece from Creek buddy Craig for me to work on as a CBQ song, under our new collaborative partnership...
