Mild and bright today...



Spent most of the morning ripping to and listening to the 19 reggae CDs bought yesterday...

That, and organising the 50 or so classical box sets I have – whilst listening to Beethoven’s Appassionata piano sonata, a piece which was an inspiration behind the film we watched on Monday, “The Lives of Others” and some delightful concertos by Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco...

In the afternoon, accompanied the Exec Producer to Tynecastle to watch Hearts throw away two points in a 1-1 draw with St Mirren – the latter equalising in injury time after the JTs had failed to press home their advantage to any real effect during the previous 90 minutes...



I liked this building on our way there...



My late father-in-law was a lifelong Jambo supporter and has his name on the board which lists 500 people who helped the club out through difficult times – he is right below George Foulkes MP...



Meanwhile, at Palmerston, Queen of the South held league leaders St Johnstone to a draw for the third time this season. After QoS being 2-0 up and 3-2 up, the saints equalised with 3 minutes to go...

In the evening of a rather subdued Saturday, “TV Burp”, “Not Going Out”, “QI” and “Match of the Day” entertained as did a tasty curry from the Bombay Feast, complete with exploding home cooked rice...
