The taste of wine...

Playlist
Various – Compilation Jukebox on Shuffleplay

Track of the Day
Elvis Costello – Oliver’s Army (2:59)

Tonight Anne met me in town and we walked to Waverley Station (past “the tram”)...

...and took a train to Linlithgow where we met up with old friends Ken & Rose for a couple of drinks at the Four Marys, then off to a Deli called “Taste” for a wine tasting session, courtesy of my relationship with “The Man”....

We tasted six lovely wines before retiring to the restaurant through the back for a meal, with more wine (flowing probably too freely) and soon the entire entourage (Janine & Karl, Ken & Rose, Colin & Julie and a chap called Dave) was laughing and carousing as people do when they’ve probably drunk too much wine...

An excellent evening...

The Exec Producer was still on the ball despite the wine intake and ensured we made our way back to the station for the last train having said our farewells...

As luck would have it, a No 26 arrived at Haymarket just as we emerged and we were back home in no time...

When I awoke on Saturday morning, I had no idea how I got home...

Or why I took a picture of a hedge (not the first time mind you)...

Some might say that’s a sign of good night?

Cheers...
