Track of the day comes from my favourite Sparks album, the Giorgio Moroder produced “Number One in Heaven” – they used real drummers in those days and this one, Keith Forsey, went on to write Simple Minds worldwide hit “Don’t You Forget About Me”...
Anyhoo - still cold but most of the snow had gone this morning...
This evening a dinner with a fund manager and an economist – great food, probably far too much red wine, and great chat...
Hardly uplifting though...
The funny thing about these scenarios is the fund manager, because he has a fund to sell, always puts a wee spin on matters – the economist tells it like it is...
And that would be pretty bloomin’ awful, to say the least...
