Up just after 4...

Idiot...

Meg the Black Cat found a cosy spot in amongst Anne’s yet-to-be-packed holiday clothes...

Put together the tracks for another podcast...

Discovered a new young lady singer from Aberdeen, Amber Wilson...

Nice...

Downloaded a couple of albums from here and there and burned and ripped and generally did stuff I ought to have been sleeping instead of doing...

The now customary Saturday run to the Grocery Store for croissants...

Post breakfast did the links for the podcast and posted it up before setting off to pick up Dr Prog and ferry us both to the library...

Borrowed a book on Krautrock and a disc of Bach keyboard works transcribed for viols and played by the band Fretwork, by whom I bought a best of disc when in London at the turn of the year...

To the Turkish Café with the Doc and chins were wagged for at least a good ninety minutes...

He reckoned I should play stuff on the podcasts which people may not have heard before...

I agreed to try that...

A lift home was provided and the Doc handed me a plastic bag stuffed with copies of Prog Rock magazines...

While Anne watched tennis, I spent the afternoon leafing through these and noting bands I wanted to hear and the fact that prog musicians really ought not to allow their pics to be published...

In the evening, an Indian takeaway accompanied the new series on Channel 4 of “Camelot”, which we will follow after enjoying the first two episodes – while, upstairs, the PC sucked more music to the hard drive...

To bed, with an early start tomorrow as we head for Newcastle...

Highlight of the Day : Prog rock overload...
