Took a walk along Princes St on this warm but overcast day...

..and funnily enough, look where I ended up...

Have not bought any CDs for a while but today a 2CD set of hits from 1959 entered the collection – including Buddy Holly’s “It doesn’t Matter Anymore” – No 1 on the day I was born...

Texts from Annie indicate a hot thundery day over in Kefalonia...

Back home, a long entertaining call with Sister Pam...

Then to work for Friday’s Capital Models session – e-mailing the guys MP3s and chord/lyric sheets for some new songs we will try, some by me, some by Jamie and some by Lou Reed...

An attempt at “Tainted Love” is also in the pipeline...

Popped to Tesco around 10 for some essentials...

Back home and Symphony X’s latest had arrived over the interweb – absolutely astounding heavy prog-metal delights...

A new band was discovered – sadly no longer operating but I picked up their final LP – the band is Charts and Maps and the album is “Dead Horse” – very much recommended...

Once again, I stayed up probably far too late listening to complicated music...

Highlight of the Day : A seemingly unending supply of new music...
