A better trip...

Playlist
Various - Top 60 Recent Albums on Shuffleplay
Uma - Hymn to Undiscovered Land
Rainbow - On Stage

Bumped into my old chum Count Brodski early evening as I perused the just being put out onto the display latest £3 offerings from Mr Fopp...

I snapped up albums by Rainbow, Free, John Cale, Caravan and Camel...

We walked along to the West End and to the Bonham Hotel...

...where I was to enjoy a dinner with some very interesting chaps from London and their ideas, all explained to the accompaniment of excellent cuisine and some tasty red wine (preceeded by a couple of G&Ts and some chat re music in the 70's)...

The trip home was a lot better than last night and I was in no way the worse for wear, having "taken it easy"...

The local architecture was complimented well by the oncoming twilight...

Home to find another CD - Mr Smith had popped the cost of the two Santana CDs supplied to him earlier this week, inside a copy of Estonian outfit Uma's "Hymn to Undiscovered Land"...

Featuring guitar, trumpet, percussion and electronics (plus vocals by Tim Bowness of No-Man on the tilte track) it is heartily recommended listening...

You can read Sid's review of the album here - and you can get it here...

I was also in time for "Question Time" and "This Week", upon which Alan Johnson name-checked Everything Everything and their album "Man Alive"...

Weird...

Lights out with Rainbow...

Highlight of the Day : Once again the food, of which I am eating far too much lately...
