A reasonable day, weatherwise...

To the gym for a curtailed exercise routine, soundtracked by the Coop...

Curtailed because then it was out to the airport to collect sister Pam, up to enjoy a few days in Pitlochry with our mum next week...

Breakfast at Patisserie Florentin then a stroll around Stockbridge...

Took the ladies home - where Meg the Black cat was making herself comfortable on Pam's makeshift bed...

...then back into town to return all the CDs borrowed three weeks ago from the library and to take out some Ravi Shankar - in an attempt to source some authentic music for chum Spike's restaurant...

A detour on the way home took me to Oddbins, enquiring whether they ever threw away any of the wooden boxes in which they take delivery of their fine wines...

Turns out I'm not the only person who has had the idea of storing CDs in said boxes - they sell them for a fiver each...

Back home and some new storage made its way to the back room...

While Anne and Pam watched the footie scores roll in (1-0 win for Queens v Partick at home - back up to third), I watched the very funny indeed "Team America" on Pam's MP4 player - impressive..

A few drinks...

...then out into the not too cold night...

...down for the bus and into town to All Bar One, where we met up with chums Lynn and Ross...

More drinks then to Spike's "Club India" to be guinea pigs pre their official opening next Tuesday...

Excellent food all round and various other chums were also on test mode including Kris-with-a-K and Monica, Caroline and husband Sparko, Kathryn and Kevin and JY Johnny and his wife Francis...

Reports made, we headed down Morrison St to Thompson's Bar, where more drinks took us into the early morning and closing time...

...a taxi home, some cuddles for Meg the Black Cat then off to bed...

Highlight of the Day : A good night out...
