To the National Museum this evening with chum Kris-with-a-k for a wee soiree involving a sneak preview of some of the new artefacts going on display...
Very impressive - and I look forward to the entire museum's eventual reopening in July 2011 - it's on target and on budget - very strange for a public sector exercise...
Unfortunately, also involved were muchas vinas and canapes and Mr K and your correspondent probably partook of a wee bit too much of the former, as evidenced by our rolling out of the museum at just gone 7:30pm...
A convoluted bus journey home ensued, involving three services and an unplanned detour due to bus sleepiness...
Anne had been out organising Chris-with-a-ch's upcoming 40th birthday party and arrived home to find Mr CBQ slumped on the sofa watching one of the worst films ever, "Dogma" - and insisting on seeing the end of it, despite having fallen asleep half way through...
To bed, to sleep, to snore loudly no doubt...
Highlight of the Day : Civilised drinks at the museum...
