A quiet start to the year...
Shuffleplay on the jukebox threw up a track I had to hear again and then listen to the whole album...
Up around 8 and cleared up the debris from last night...
It seems our first foot was small, black and handsome...
Finished off the diary for 2009 then watched the New Year’s Day Concert from Vienna and “The Railway Children” before, once again, taking to my bed mid-afternoon re the ongoing lurgi scenario...
In the evening, “Dr Who” was, eventually, excellent but then, went a wee bit overboard with the outro – all in all though, very entertaining and I’m already looking forward to the new series – the role is bigger than any of the actors portraying it...
A new playlist of the top 20 LPs of 2009 kept me busy before ending the day with the excruciating cringeworthy, but funny, comedy of “I’m Alan Partridge”...
After 17 days now of each, I am becoming rather bored with (a) the ongoing freezing weather and (b) the ongoing cold/lurgi...
No doubt both will disappear just in time for the holidays to be over...
Worryingly, Meg the Black Cat, our first-footer, seemed to spend the entire day eating her food then throwing it up all over the place...
