Up early and out through the snow and ice to the store for breakfast provisions...

The moon was still up...

Back home and Anne and sister Pam were up – breakfast duly prepared and consumed whilst enjoying the talented Italian songstress Laura Pausini on DVD...

To the airport with Pam and farewells said – she will return in the Spring...

Then, took Anne to Fife for her to watch today’s two Scottish Football Derbies, Celtic v Rangers and Hibs v Hearts...

Headed home over icy roads...

...to do something more interesting (IMHO of course)...

Compiled a disc for the car featuring one MP3 each from my top 100 albums of 2009 and watched “Dr Who” again – missing much of it due to falling asleep – bad sleeps continue due to the lurgi...

First self portrait of the year...

Beardy tube...

Two 1-1 draws later, I picked Anne up from Haymarket Station and we stopped off at the Bombay Feast for our first takeaway of the year, limiting ourselves to mains and rice in the usual start-of-the-year-must-eat-less scenario...

Watched “Ron Burgundy Anchor Man” (I think) which was entertaining and which, over the end credits, featured Kansas’ classic “Carry on My Wayward Son”...

This led me to spin said disc, followed by quite a few others, before ending the day with another film, “Under a Tuscan Sun”, the second half of which, due to fatigue, we had to tape for later viewing...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Compiling...
