It was bought long before that of course - the digital library only started in September 2013...

As you can see from the playlist today - it was a day spent mostly listening to the band...

As I await the guys' suggestions for "punkish/new wave" covers we might learn, with a view to gigging those alongside the original band's material, I spent probably far too much time today thinking about songs we already do, which might fit into that bracket...

It was, of course, more about the feel rather than the era of the songs themselves...

We have approaching 50 of them, from February 2017 through to December last year...

I gathered them together on this, which went to the team this evening, using the order of our "Repertoire" on Bandcamp but, with, where, possible, recordings by the current iteration of the band...

This afternoon - post lunch with a "Chicago PD" - I decided to start a new thing...

One disc from each of my boxes of CDs, every day...

I have enough of these boxes to play one CD a day for over a year....

I started with a disc of piano music by Albeniz...

How long do you think it will be before this stupid project falls by the wayside, like almost everything else I've ever done?

Superb pasta from Anne tonight - prawns, salami, panchetta, cream cheese, onions, peppers, chillis...

And a freshly baked roll to capture any left over sauce...

Made my suggestions to the band of possible "punkish/new wave" things to cover...

Of course, we could conceivably write our own new material to add to the original band's old material...

The rest of the night was taken up with watching all six episodes of "Trigger Point" from the box, recorded late last year...

Entertaining...
