After last night's Barraque and reading the sleeve notes re Herbert Henck, I downloaded a wide selection of his stuff for future listening...
But, today, from the box above, I chose one of the sets of Bartok’s String Quartets...
Robert Fripp turned me onto these via his diaries, way back...
I have many renditions these days on CD and the hard drives, but this is the first set I bought, the Alban Berg Quartett on EMI, from 1987…

..and consider "good" live albums - chose these 20, all of which I have/used to have on LP back in the 70's/early 80s...
Wrote this and closed off the day with an episode of "Black Ops" - two to go...
