A busy day ahead as I fired up the machines...
Got as much done as I could, before having to head out at 8:45...
...soundtracked by my old LPs on shuffle...
...but noted Barclay James Harvest Live had to be redownloaded, as the version I have on my drives was a vinyl rip...
Done...
Out, leaving Anne sleeping...
Down the hill...
...and a bus to Haymarket...
Now soundtracked by "Swan Songs" - out at the end of the year...
A meet up with Dr Prog - who had to check headphones he'd accidentally stood on this morning - all fine...
A nice Turkish place...
...and a tasty, if rather expensive for what it was, breakfast - mine, eggs, potatoes and cheese, the Doc's, spinach and eggs...
Good chat ensued - topics - new music, headphones, being duped, Genesis live in early 1974, Miles Davis in Glasgow 1990, my stupid illness of buying too many CDs, etc etc...
We were at the Flatbread Turkish Bakery House...
Nice...
We parted at 11 - I had to get home to prep for a band rehearsal this afternoon...
On the way, milk and boots...
Once home, no lunch required...
I worked on the arrangement for "Blitzkrieg Bop", which we would play this afternoon for the first time since June 2022...
"David Baddiel Cat Man" partially enjoyed before loading the car and heading for Roslin at 1:30 for a 2pm start...
Rehearsing songs for a party in early March...

Keralan Chicken Curry for tea - yum...
"Lyndley" enjoyed...
Then, upstairs to work...
First though, today's CD Box...
Almost half were Chopin...
...but I chose some slightly more oblique piano works....
...by 20th Century Italian composer, Niccolo Castiglioni...
Like yesterday's Carter, the correct mood is required or it's just tuneless rubbish...
Then, to editing today's sessions...
Set 1
1hr 21 edited to just 38 mins - loads of work on those...
Set 2
35 mins edited to 25 mins...
Total

Productive...
Sent out to the boys in the band - the cover commemorating the KitKat intake at half time...
Ended the day with two episodes of "Chicago PD", as we moved into Season 5...
Bed post midnight...
Highlight of the Day: Meet up with Dr Prog/Rehearsing...
